The story of a favorite: Château Penin, or the Carteyron Vineyards, a family property of 40 hectares of vines, is located in Génissac, on the left bank of the Dordogne, opposite Saint-Emilion. Since 1982, it has been managed by Patrick Carteyron, fifth generation, who, after having worked for a few years as an oenologist on various Bordeaux appellations, has chosen to devote himself to the development of the family estate which is regularly awarded, noted for its quality. and consistency of its wines, leaders of this gigantic appellation of Bordeaux, and recommended, among others, by Wine Advocate - Robert Parker.

In 2011, Patrick Carteyron made an old dream come true by purchasing a small property of 2.5 hectares of vines located in Saint-Pey-d'Armens, in Saint-Émilion Grand Cru; he completely renovated the buildings there, created his winery, cellar and reception room and improved the culture of the vineyard: La Fleur Penin was born!

Wine :

85% Merlot, 15% Cabernet Franc

Dense wine, rich on the nose, with nuances of ripe fruit and spices, all in harmony and mouth, with a beautiful persistence.

Aging between 4 and 10 years, to preserve a beautiful taste richness.
